3rd Day of Web Design

Though it is really interesteing class which keeps me continuously engaged, there were few instanses where I felt I am not able to keep up with the class and mentor. But at the end I made it. Today I learned some new terms with the help of the game Flaxbox Froggy like align-items, justify-content, wrap, order, Float. I am excited for tomorrow.

"Independent Ownership"-It's stuck with me.

Today again, I felt that there is something I can make for myself (a digital one) not just some physical product. It was positive day where I learned about the tearm Indie Web, something that feels like ours. Got to know its principles. Went through many blogs and different websites that can help buiding my websites.

My Manifesto

This website is about deep diving into my experiences where you will look at all of my work connected with my interests. Even building this website from scratch will itself be a part of my portfolio. This website is totally made by me without depending on any constraints where I have to follow somebody else’s guideline or layout. I believe in Independent Ownership where I as a designer can showcase my progress and share personal knowledge. It is a safe platform where you will flow freely. If you’ll give time in the exploration, it may assist you with many resources and insights. I will be updating my website in every 6 months and I always try to make it feel like a friend sharing his experiences to another friend.

Today's Notes

Today we were given time for making low fidelity layouts for our website. Read some blogs and readings on design components and principles. I think having a look at these readings everytime before starting any module or any design project is important for me.

It will be a simple website for now and as I will move forward with mid or high fidelity, my mind I will visualise more elements that I can add to it.

Today's Note

Today we worked on our final colours and typograpghy for our high fidelity wireframe. It was a productive day.

#My Progress Sorry for the delay. I am sharing my Devnotes for today that is 7th August. Today I finished first page of my portfolio website. It was fun while figuring out what code will fit best for the layout. I shifted from building my website on Astro to vanilla html. While coding I took help from many resources like mdn, w3schools, chatgpt and my classmates. I have to do little bit of more refinement like editing the menu button hover, its colour and as sir told I can try adding the background grid by coding and by placing an image. My tomorrow's task is to-

• Complete the About Page with all the refinements.
• Complete Work page by adding the thumbnails of my project.
